The first time I heard it, it was..... "Keep it Simple Stupid" (The original I believe). Later on I heard "Keep it simple silly" and now it's "Keep it Short and Simple". As long as there is a word "Simple" in that phrase, it's valid. Wow, so many interpretations of the KISS strategy for copywriters.
