		<description>In my experience I've found that "non-paid" links are valued much more than the paid ones. I suspect that the google crawler, when reading your link, maybe searches for words like "add link, paid link, advertisement..." I would not be surprised.

I also try to have our text ads away from the AdSence ads on the site. 
Might I be paranoid? Maybe, but so far this tactic works.

Start an affiliate program with clean links, and you'll get a better chance of having good rankings.

		<description>It's interesting that you put it that way, as most people would make that argument about reciprocal links, not necessarily one-way links. But I think you're right in that link relevance is beginning to play a much more significant role in link value.</description>
