Hi Zach --

You hit the nail on the head:
The page did not fit the design of the site, and had no navigation. The alternate page had no organic optimization - in fact it has very little beyond brief details and a call to action button.

What I have done, is create duplicate ads, each pointing to a different landing page. In this way, I am still able to do my A/B testing. I just wanted to use the Optimizer to analyze the results for me.

It works. The identical ads have slightly different Click through rates (difference of 1%), and the original page has a better Conversion Rate. Time to pause the low performing landing page in favor of the better ...

Thanks for the comment.

Why would you turn it off? I'm guessing the page didn't fit into the site, like no navigation, or different design, or it was a long sales letter.

If not, why wouldn't you want to test your organic traffic as well? I want to make the most of all my traffic.
