There are holidays that rightfully honor our brave soldiers and founding fathers. Ones in which to worship God and ones in which to remember specific people who made significant contributions to our country. Today is a day for YOU. You may not have put your life on the line for your country or shaped an important historical event, but in some small way, by going to work everyday and “bringing home the bacon,” you are making your own contributions — to your country, to your community and to your family. For that, we salute you and hope you get to enjoy a relaxing, fun day off. And if you can’t take the day off, we wish you a calm and productive workday.
