New Tool for Scoring Keyword Visibility

Hey, you're new. We like you already! You obviously have great taste! If you like what you read here you'll probably want to subscribe to our RSS feed (or the audio RSS feed). Stick around and be sure to speak up and post a comment or two!

We just beta released a tool designed to measure the performance of a keyword ranking campaign. KRP (Keyword Ranking Performance) is designed to provide a mathematically accurate scoring system by analyzing the following:

  • Search engine rankings on the top 5 U.S. search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Ask.com)
  • Site visibility in relation to top search ranking positions
  • Search engine market share for all web searches
  • Click-thru ratio of top rankings on each search engine
  • Conversion rate of each search engine
  • Top ranking overlap across multiple search engines
  • And other statistical metrics

Give it a whirl. I’m interested in getting your feedback.

Truman, Just tested the calculator and it worked fine. After you punch in your rankings and calculate you should see a new scoring image appear near the top (just below the text).
