Well, if you want to want to piss people off then surely start a blog! :) Those kind of blogs get lots of traffic and commenters.

I know what you mean about implementing solutions in the first few minutes, but there are often some basics that can be thrown out right away… like… “You don’t have any title tags for your pages”, or “Your 12 URLs all trying to do the same thing are probably considered as spam”. But when it comes to marketing strategy, that definitely takes at least 6 minutes!!! ;-)

If you ever want to contribute to EMP, let me know. I’m game for having regular contributors from the “outside”. Anything marketing/business related is good here.

Stoney …. sometimes we see a 6-8 word search queries being typed by people who search for our products. This goes to prove that for quality SEO, one should not just focus on 2 keyword phrases and drill them 30 times through the copy.

Now … there are exceptions to every business. Some businesses can optimize for 2 keyword phrases and make their living just on that. It all depends on the saturation of the market.

This is why I stay away from any SEO or marketing companies that try to implement solutions within the first 5 minutes of the conversation. You don’t know our business, nor do you know our market, how can you rely on my 5 minute info before pushing something so strongly … I say. …………. I get dead silence :-)

We started getting into the TV Advertising channels. After a 6-7 minute conversation with a production company the guy starts to tell me his ideas for the commercial. Quite Frankly …. he’s way off. I wonder why.

Stoney …… should I start my own blog? I want to piss people off. ;-)
Just have to get it started.
