    Articles have always been a good source of links. Link exchanges are OK, but articles have a much longer term effect. If your link partner’s site goes down then you are stuck with an outbound link and no return. With articles, at least you can many inbound links from one article and a lot of them could be highly valuable links if your article is well written.
