What the Heck… PR9?

Would someone please explain to me why Google is a PR10, yet sites such as Yahoo, MSN, AOL, and eBay are only PR9′s? If anything, many of these sites could be deemed even more established than Google. Do I sense a little bias here? How objective is this whole Page Rank thing anyway?

    Google does have a higher search marketshare than both MSN and Yahoo.

    Looking at some other stats, Yahoo has an Alexa rank of #1 (the best!), Google is #2 and MSN is #3. MySpace is #8 but Google gives it a PR7.

    Anybody think Google hand manipulates PR in certain circumstances?
