As a Man Thinketh

“As a Man Thinketh is written for all those seeking wisdom and tranquility in a turbulent, complex world.”
That line comes from the preface of this book written over a hundred years ago, but still relevant to any person wishing to better their lives today. Thinketh could alternately be titled, “You Are What You Think,” as that is the author’s overriding premise.
Thinketh is a short but weighty book delving into the processes of the mind and how your thoughts–what you choose to think–effects your character, circumstances, health, goals, achievements and vision of your own future. Thinketh causes you to take ownership of your thoughts, rather than letting your thoughts own (or control) you.
Every person can choose what to think, whether it be positive or negative thoughts, thoughts of love or hate, optimism or pessimism, joy or grief, success or failure. Thinketh helps you understand the consequences of your thoughts both positive or negative and helps guide the reader to train themselves to think of those things that will serve to better themselves and those around them.
Good thoughts and actions can never produce bad results; bad thoughts and actions can never produce good results.
