Million Dollar Websites book review

Without being intentionally self-promotional, Million Dollar Websites seems to be a perfect companion to my own The Best Damn Web Marketing Checklist, Period! Where my checklist covers the how-to aspects of web marketing, Rebecca’s book provides a great resource detailing the why.

by Rebecca Murtagh

Million Dollar Websites is an incredibly thorough web marketing handbook that every business owner should have on their shelf and/or pass to their web marketing team. Murtagh helps you understand the reasons us web marketers do what we do, and her book really makes the case for investing in a solid web marketing campaign. There isn’t a single chapter in here that every web marketer and business owner won’t find valuable.

Starting with the idea that every business owner wants to (and should) build a million dollar website. Rebecca walks you through the ins and outs of having and marketing a website properly. You’ll learn how to plan for success while avoiding mistakes that can take you out of the game before you even begin.

For those of you who want to really understand SEO, content and usability issues, you’ll find a goldmine of information here. Rebecca also helps you understand that building a winning website is a team effort. While everyone on your team should read this book, it’s only when they all work together that you will be able to build your own million dollar website!
