How important is it to have keywords in the very first sentence on the page? This was asked over at High Rankings forum, and the answer to that really depends on what the goal is. The question itself is in reference to the search engines reading the navigation first, which is just a bunch of words. But that’s what happens with most sites, so its really a non-issue.
