Really Much of an Impact?

How effective is online advertising (discounting natural SERP as a form) within your daily life? Do all those pop ups, banner ads, sponsored search results, email ads, flash ads, etc. etc., really do anything to make you into a converted customer? Come to think of it, I spend a lot of time on the net between work and home, and I have never purchased something as a direct result of an unsolicited online advertisement. However, I think the idea here is not conversion rates. Companies keep intense online ad campaigns because of the rediculousy cheap cost per impression rate in comparison to TV and radio. .. must be doing something for them in regard to profitibility.

Max Speed

If the Pole Position Marketing team had a muse—and it does—it would be Max Speed. We love Max’s occasionally off-color, usually amusing and always pointed “Maxisms.” (Maybe “Maxims” would be a better word.) Max gives voice to some of the things we think but, bound by professional decorum, aren’t permitted to say. At least, not out loud.
