SEO Mis-Information

There is a lot of mis-information going around on the search engine forums and other SEO news sources. Much of it coming from respected SEO professionals. Most is simply speculation or wishful thinking or, dare I say, ignorance. I caution anyone from abruptly changing SEO strategies at the behest of such information.

If you found that your rankings dropped significantly with the new Google algorithm change you might want to consider employing a new SEO rather than jumping to new SEO techniques that may or may not be effective. Changing strategies because certain respected SEOs say this or that is dead or ineffective could be detrimental. Yes, if you lost rankings you are going to need to chart a new course, but its best to wait until more is known about the algorithm changes. Don’t jump on speculation.

BTW: Pole Position Web was prepared for this algorithm change and are seeing that many of our clients are seeing significant jump in rankings on Google. We know for a fact that much of the speculation out there is false.
