Here are three SEO tools that were sent for me to review. It’s always good to investigate to see if any can be truly beneficial.
1. Keyword Harvester
Price $10.00
System Requirements
Unix or Linux Operating System
Perl 5 with sockets library installed
“This script allows you to scan for popular search engine words and phrases derived from your search word. Great for generating doorway pages or getting ideas for domain names or buying search engine keywords.”
Great for generating doorway pages ( uh, no thank you! )
This tool is not necessary. Word Tracker and Overture are already two good tools to research popular keyword phrases.
2. Keyword Counter [Sorry, link no longer available.]
Yes – this is a good online tool to see your keyword count usage and to compare it another competitive site. I prefer to use Spider Who – for a more detailed report of how search engines look at the html content of the site.
3. PR Prowler
Price = $98.00
“Just a handful of quality, high PR links is all it takes to skyrocket ahead of your competition in Google”.
Yes – that is very true. But how many of those High PR sites have a “Linking Resource” directory, and how many will actually swap – if you have a much lower PR?
User group forums have mixed emotions on this one. Some say is very useful, while other say don’t waste your money. A similar online tool can be used for free here.
