We Have a Winner!

Before writing this post, I gave myself an interesting challenge. More than four days after the super bowl, try to remember one commercial that you viewed during the game. No cheating, I’m not allowed to Google it or anything like that. At first I drew a blank, I honestly could not remember one specific commercial that I viewed during the super bowl! Then I remembered, horses… budweiser… bingo! It all started to come together, you know, that commerical with the baby clydesdale that’s trying to pull the wagon, and he gets a little help unbenounced to him. The controversial GoDaddy commercial was not even in my accessible memory. I only remembered that one after a colleague mentioned it. So there you go, it doesn’t take pointless sex or violence in a commercial for it to be memorable! As for budweiser… mission accomplished.

Max Speed

If the Pole Position Marketing team had a muse—and it does—it would be Max Speed. We love Max’s occasionally off-color, usually amusing and always pointed “Maxisms.” (Maybe “Maxims” would be a better word.) Max gives voice to some of the things we think but, bound by professional decorum, aren’t permitted to say. At least, not out loud.

    I was barely watching, but I remember a couple of pepsi commercials. I also remember (I think it was a bee commercial) the one with all the guys on the roofs making an excuse to get out of the house.
