Remember to Title Your Images

Give Your Image Some Texture

When using images on your website, consider adding text to the image title attribute. This title text often appears when the visitor hovers their mouse over the image making it a great place to add additional relevant information.

While you cannot count on the visitor ever seeing this text, it can be a nice additional touch for those who are looking for something a bit more. No, this isn’t a place to stuff keywords, but rather to provide additional content relevant to the visitor.

Tip: make sure all your title elements are unique and not just a re-iteration of your image file name!
