Interesting Advertising Method?

I’ve noticed a rising trend in advertising methods. People with something to gain are taking advantage of every possible space to advertise. New witty ideas seem to be popping up every where, including public restrooms. I’ve noticed people are purposely leaving business cards strategically placed on counter surfaces above sinks, sometimes over each sink in the bathroom. When washing your hands in the sink, you cannot help but notice. My latest encounter involved a hotel bathroom in a popular casino, and the business card was selling someone’s new book about the Vietnam war and included a URL. That was over two weeks ago, and i still remember it… must be pretty affective right? Although, it perhaps made a lasting impression because of it’s unusual method of placement, not because of the message itself?
