The SEO industry is a funny beast. I can’t think of any other industry where facts are debated so vigorously. Maybe that’s because we really have few facts to work from, and all we have are theories that have been repeatedly tested. Problem is, one person’s tested and passed theory, is another person’s tested and failed.
We often hear of the ‘sandbox’, ‘link aging’, ‘over optimization penalties’ and the like with SEOs on both sides of the fence arguing vehemently (from their own experiences) whether these things truly exist or not.
