Reno Grand Sierra Resort Update

A couple of weeks ago I posted about the Grand Sierra Resort Hotel here in Reno and their super small signage. I was surprised by the overwhelming response and comments which that post generated, many of them passionate arguments both for and against the signage. A number also noted how many times that building has changed hands of late and predicted a similar fate for the Grand Sierra.

I took the liberty of emailing the people in charge at the Grand Sierra, to make sure they were aware of the community’s thoughts and opinions. Just a short simple email with a link to the post. I received almost an immediate response back:

Thanks very much. We are monitoring this and working on a solution.

So that’s good to know. It would be interesting to see what, if anything, comes of all this.
