What do PPC and Stocks have in Common?

No, this isn’t a joke in search of a punchline. I just posted an article over at the Search Engine Guide blog titled Managing Your Pay-Per-Click Portfolio. Here are the comparisons I’ve drawn:

  • Both are an investment
  • Both can easily be managed
  • Both require deeper knowledge
  • Both have their ups and downs
  • Both, if mismanaged, can lead to significant loss
  • Both can bring solid long term gains
