Experienced Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Associate
Pole Position Marketing, a pioneer company in the SEO/SEM industry, is growing! Primary Tasks:
* Help write site audit reports based on research findings
* Prepare site architecture documents for clients based on knowledge gained through previous research
* Copyediting of client website content
* Create web analytic reports measuring the success of all SEM campaigns
* Communicate with potential and existing clients by phone and email in a timely manner
* Attending client meetings by phone and in-person
* Help prepare presentations for events and client meetings
* Keeping abreast of existing and new trends in the search marketing space
* Attending search marketing conferences, seminars, and networking events as necessary to further the education process and represent the company in a consistent, positive manner
* Brainstorming with management on new services
Qualifications:
* 2-3 years of work experience in SEO and/or SEM
* Willingness to have your current knowledge of SEO challenged
* A good sense of humor (and thick skin!)
* Very flexible and adaptive to tasks
* Work with minimal supervision
* Proficiency reading and interpreting technical documentation
* Passionate about web technologies especially search engines
* Driven, self-directed learner
* Dedicates personal time to learning
* Strong project/time management and organizational skills
* Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
* Excellent writing and communication skills
* Superb computer, Internet, and research skills
* A variety of analytical skills
* Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a big plus
* Some math skills including basic linear algebra and statistics
* A strong command of English, grammar, and composition
* Proficiency with PCs, Windows OS, MS Office

* Track campaign progress and provide reports to clients.
