Let’s Hear It for the Stark B2B Expo! We’re Stepping Out as Sponsors

When I tell Northeast Ohio friends and colleagues where I work, the response I often get is, “Pole Position Marketing? Never heard of it.” (Visibility: the challenge all small businesses must contend with, right?) When I respond, I’m not shy about saying what an awesome group of web marketing pros I’m part of. This month, we’ve decided it’s time to take that message – and our community support efforts – even farther!

On October 26 at Canton’s Cultural Center for the Arts, we’ll be sponsoring the Stark Business-to-Business Expo After Hours Networking event together with the Canton Charge, the Cleveland Cavalier’s new D-League team! The day-long expo, presented by the Canton Repository and the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, offers area businesses an opportunity to showcase their products and services while participating in valuable networking and educational sessions. If you own a business in Northeast Ohio, this is one event you won’t want to miss.

Pole Position Marketing to Offer Free Website Usability Evaluations at Stark B2B Expo

We’ll have a booth at the Stark B2B Expo featuring free website usability evaluations and PPC, social media and content consultations. Stoney deGeyter (aka, the Prez) believes the B2B Expo is a unique opportunity for Stark County companies to generate awareness about their products and services.

He says, “Marketing in the B2B arena, as opposed to business-to-consumer, comes with its own set of challenges, particularly when it comes to visibility. We’re pleased that our sponsorship will help support the Canton Chamber and Repository in their efforts to highlight local B2B companies.” (Excellent quote, Stoney!)

We’re also helping a local non-profit – The Soul Care Center – gain some visibility. Soul Care Center is a faith-based organization in Canton that offers counseling, coaching, training and other support programs. Founder Jim Roberts, CCMFT, CCPC, CCLC, will be offering a prayer ministry to those who attend. Whatever your personal or business needs, Jim will be happy to pray with you!

Stoney to Speak on Stark B2B Expo Panel on Social Media Marketing

Stoney, along with Peter Fierle of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Beth Kaboth from SiteLogic, will be part of a panel discussion, “Social Media: You’re doing it. What next?” The program begins at 10 am in the Cultural Center’s exhibition area.

Other event speakers include Ohio’s Lt. Governor Mary Taylor, Dr. William Draves, business futurist, and Sue Grabowski of Grabowski & Co. What a great line-up!

Like to learn more about integrating content, search and social from Stoney? We’ll be holding a live, half-day website marketing workshop on November 16 in North Canton.
