Every once in a while you will come upon a session that isn’t entirely abundant with info that’s useful. This was one of those sessions.
However, the panelist from Microsoft brought up something cool about a whole new way of searching… searching using pictures! In a sense you would be conducting a reverse image search. He brought up one of Microsoft Live Lab’s latest projects called Photosynth.
Lets say you just went to Italy and took hundreds of awesome pictures with your digital camera, and there’s this one particular picture of a certain building with some historical significance, however you cannot recall the name of it. Simply upload the picture to Photosynth, and WALA! There’s the name I was looking for! Now that sounds pretty cool to me.
