Apparently AskJeeves is going to launch an AdWords-type advertising campaign on August 1st. Check out this little article about it.

“The new advertising format is rumored to be similar to Yahoo Search Marketing and Google AdWords, where advertisers can purchase sponsored listings on demand for various search terms.”

“The Ask Jeeves search interface is also rumored to be similar to the Google AdWords interface with a minimum $.05 bid and it is not known if Ask Jeeves will offer such options as state by state geo-targeting or even country oriented targeting.”

Max Speed

If the Pole Position Marketing team had a muse—and it does—it would be Max Speed. We love Max’s occasionally off-color, usually amusing and always pointed “Maxisms.” (Maybe “Maxims” would be a better word.) Max gives voice to some of the things we think but, bound by professional decorum, aren’t permitted to say. At least, not out loud.
