At the SES 2006 San Jose, there was a lot of buzz about the up and coming new YSM PPC platform code named Panama. I came across some more interesting news on a SEW forum thread. There has been speculation as to whether the launch of Panama would start in Q4 or Q1. Apparently, coming from the horse’s mouth, the transition will start to take place sometime during Q4. This is good news, the sooner the better! Also, the new version is reported to being “just like Google”, which works for me. This will FINALLY allow us more control over things such as budgeting, and allow for more refined A/B testing measures. I will officially not miss the old Yahoo one bit!
